I am so glad that Shrub's 'DOM' week ends the day before our seventh wedding anniversary. It would feel icky celebrating during a week that has been 'named' in such a divisive way.

It ends on the day of my sixth wedding anniversary. But I was married in a civil ceremony (in my dad's living room filled with slightly tipsy relatives) with our 20 month old son standing beside us so my 'heterosexual marriage with child' is probably not what they want to protect in the first place.
