Sep. 22nd, 2003 12:48 pmAm at Neil Gaiman booksigning.
Can have him sign *one* book other than (unlimited numbers of) his 2 new ones. Should he sign:
A. 1st printing of original trade paperback of good omens, which is in poor condition
B. 1st printing of american gods which is in excellent condition
Meeble!

Date: 2003-09-22 12:57 pm (UTC)Then again, it could fall apart and then that would be sad.
I'd say American Gods.
By the way...tell him a girl at Ohio State finds him exceptionally beautiful and talented and wants to have 10000 of his babies.
Just kidding.

Date: 2003-09-22 03:13 pm (UTC)I'd say B because 1) it is in better condition and 2) because it is his book alone and not shared with Pratchett.
He wrote an excellent list of dos and don'ts for book signings, so I thought I'd give you the most important one:when you meet him, don't forget either your name or how to *spell* your name in a fit of fangirlish glee.
I'd probably have to pen it on my hand *sigh*

Date: 2003-09-22 04:11 pm (UTC)And, B, simply because it's in excellent condition and he didn't co-write it with Terry Pratchett, so it is his own work. :)
