So if you have any messages with attachments that you want to save on your Yahoogroups, you HAVE to download them and reupload them into the FILES or PHOTOS sections within the next week.

I saw that. *rolls eyes* There are no words. I'm just glad my important lists are on a private server. They're not nearly as fancy and don't do file storage at all, but they're tons more reliable and there are no flipping ads to have to contend with. Y!Groups is just getting a touch ridiculous anymore.

What pissed me off more was that making Files and Photos public is going to be impossible. I mean, I have my own website alright, but I know a ton of people who don't and therefore use a YahooGroup to host their art, with the archives set to public. Now with the new changes, anyone who wants to view the art will have to get a Y!ID and join the group first. -.-

There is so much about Yahoo! that pisses me off it's not funny anymore. There are a bunch of lists that I'm not a member of but I occasionally check to see what new art is up. Now, I have to join all those groups. My list membership count is going to skyrocket. *sighs* And I *hate* joining a list and setting it to no-mail (plus some lists don't allow it).
