Prepping for that Fandom Maternity Leave

I've always resolved never to cut my friends list, although I know that I've got about 50 people who've friended me, who I haven't friended back - generally because I don't recognize your name from commenting in my LJ or something.

So if you want me to friend you back, please post a comment and let me know either (a) what other name(s) I might know you as, or (b) why you friended me in the first place.

It doesn't mean that I'll read every entry in your LJ, at least once I'm on leave, but it's the easiest way for me to "keep up" with the fandom...

Also, you're the only practising Jew on my friends list, and since I strongly believe in interfaith communication,
I find it really interesting to get a Jewish perspective on things once in a while.

Due to my mental age of 50, my own LJ is pretty boring. Tends to revolve around failing to get pregnant and other sad news, plus the odd quiz. I can also be quite SNARXy and sarcastic sometimes.

I don't remember why I added you but I thought I'd say hi. I've only had my journal for a month, I started it after reading friend's for about a year, because I have been off work for 6 weeks so far with laringitis. I've added people who looked interesting or who had interests in common with me. When are you due to have your baby? mine is 17 nearly 18 but sometimes it seems like yesterday.

I forget precisely *how* I found your LJ but I'd been watching it for the interesting articles (especially the HP ones) that you sometimes post links to. Seeing as I'm a total goober when it comes to keeping up with current events, I probably wouldn't see them otherwise. So, I added you to my friends list.

I've also been enjoying reading the posts about the coming baby, I have no desire to have children of my own (hey, I'm stuck at the mental age of 12, I don't think I could handle kids) so I enjoy listening to the stories of those who do. :)

Well I know I'm on both the friend and "friend of" lists, but I don't know how well you know me. I know you friended me first (I believe it was when I emailed the person who stole Liss' (and others) smut fic and posted it at snitchfiction. When I saw that you'd friended me, I was like O_O "Holy crap!". Namely because I never thought I'd be friended by someone so high up on the FA Admin team.

I friended you a while back, simply because I enjoying reading your journal and find it interesting. I also find it a nice way to keep up with fandom stuff that I occasionally manage to miss. I don't mind if you don't friend me back, as my journal is pretty much me ranting about my personal life, but I thought I'd let you know who I was anyway. :)

I friended you because you are a fountain of information and always seem to know the answers to almost every question posted on numerous Yahoo groups. You're also one of the founders of FA, which I absolutely adore. I cannot remember why I friended you, but it likely had something to do with your being on lots of my other friends' friendlists. Also, you are a FA person, and I spend inordinate amounts of time on that site.
Do not bother keeping up with my LJ, though, as I hardly ever post, and when I do it is not interesting or important.
