That means I have another 5 or so weeks to go. And I don't mind.

By this point in pregnancy, many women can't wait to have the whole thing over with, but given that my house renovations are not done yet (floors, tiles and paint are still needed) I am very, very happy to have a few more weeks to go.

At this point, I'm having a few random contractions - six to ten a day for the past three days. I don't need to worry unless I have more than 3 in an hour, though, and that hasn't happened yet.

I finally did a huge shopping trip this past weekend for Bebestuff, including this very cool car seat and this amazing bouncy... chair. And a collection of Boppy Pillows, which made my husband ask, "You need four? Why?"

Upstairs, downstairs, at my mum's house and in the car, of course!

I actually wanted to stay pregnant forever the second time around. I was eventually 9 days late and *still* didn't feel that urge to GET THIS CHILD OUT that I'd felt first time.

For me though, I knew I was done after baby #2 and I made sure I enjoyed every second of the experience.

So, yeah, with you on this one Heidi :)

What are Boppy Pillows?

The car seat looks very futuristic! :)

I think 35 weeks is about when I started to hit the uncomfortable zone... hurt to walk, couldn't balance, etc. That made me more anxious to just go ahead and have the baby already!

*keeps fingers crossed for you on the contraction thing*

and hey, bouncy seat=miracle of science. we almost bought that one ourselves!

I want that chair. How come babies get to have all the fun? *pouts*

But seriously though, I'm glad to hear you're doing so well!

Aww.
I don't know if I've told you this or not, but your posts are one of the major reasons that my biological clock is now ticking quite loudly.
It's so awesome to kind of "watch" you go through all it all.
But.
Call me old fashioned, but I think it's still the biggest miracle ever.

Also, my nephew, Trevor, had one of those bouncy seats.
Oy.
It's like the wonder calmer-downer.
Every mother should have one.

Congrats!
And rock on.
You enjoy every minute of it darlin!

*holds Heidi's hand through infrequent contractions*

Since you are still mid-renovations, I hope Jumper decides not to jump much more for another five or even six weeks. Stay comfy!
