Fan mail from some...

heidiI just got a fan letter from Jim Dale.
Sort of.
Gail Bohacek and I wrote a FILK to the tune of The Museum Song from Barnum, and posted it to HPfGU to plug the launch of the programming page (you can also find the filk here) and I bcc:ed Jim Dale on the posting.
I'd exchanged emails with him earlier this year, inviting him to Nimbus, but his schedule was still unclear for the summer, so he wasn't sure he'd be able to make it - he still isn't sure, actually - so he did have a bit of knowledge of what Nimbus is going to be.
This afternoon, he sent me an email back, showing his good sense of humor and appreciating the homage.
Am fangirling!!!
Now... if only I could figure out how to filk something to Pasamaquady...
