Over the Christmas holiday, screeners took a sword hidden inside a cane from a passenger in Milwaukee who claimed not to know it was there.

Oh, my! The Malfoys are flying commercial!

I actually have a Malfoy cane and I took it to a con. I'll have it at N-2003. And it's a BITCH to get into my checked baggage-- I have to use a suitcase my ex calls "Dudders" to fit it in diagonally and even then it makes the thing slightly lopsided.

And there are people who don't realize it has a sword in it, so I can understand how this happens, but it sure is funny.
