I can never watch LOTR the same way again.

And after all those years of avoiding Flipper...

NORTH wasn't that bad. Flipper was.

OK. They were both bad.

Oh, I love North. It's a brilliant film. Actually that was around the time I started to take Elijah seriously and stopped putting him into the "annoying child actor" category.

Hey now... I loved watching North when it just came out. It's a great movie when you are that age...and Elijah Wood was my favorite kid actor, cause we are the same age. Bruce Willis is fantastic in it.

It's the one with Bruce Willis in it? I liked that, but then I like most stuff with Bruce Willis in it. Doesn't he wear a bunny suit at one point?

North!Elijah: Wait ... you mean my buttcrack is gonna be on billboards all around America?

*snigger* I semi-watched that when it was on TV here last year ... it was amusing. The song & dance bits were cute... but the buttcrack thing ...

Speaking as a 17-year-old teenybopper, Flipper is a great movie. Okay, not necessarily a great movie, but it came out when I was 11, and it was quite possibly the first movie I had ever seen where a boy I liked, Elijah, who was (somewhat) close to my age didn't have a shirt on. Imagine my delight. Seriously, though. I had just started to realize that boys were fun in ways that didn't involve playing soccer with them, and there's Elijah without a shirt. So while it's not a good movie, exactly, it is still a great movie, at least if you're my age. :D

Allie, confirming all suspicions about just how much of a teenybopper she really is

I admit to owning the Viewmaster paperdiscs of Flipper. Harry insisted on getting them when we went to the Seaquarium last month because he's v. into dolphins, and there was a picture of a dolphin on them.
