Oh, I am so happy to live in Miami-Dade, where they aren't actually quite so stupid as to leave the uncounted ballots in the Election Supervisor's office for months and months after they election.

In other news, it's 37 degrees outside right now - a new low for today. I heard it might snow in Orlando.

*snerk*

The amusing thing about that article is her name is Oliphant. Like Sam's Oliphaunt-spotting ...

It's 37 degrees outside here, too ... only in Centigrade.

I'm LOVING the cold. Although, of course, the office is heated so I didn't bother to wear my cool sweater. :P

And Broward's election woes make me very happy to live in Pinellas. :)

Florida elections, oh dear.

Grew up in FLorida, so I've been trying to keep up with things there. *shakes head in stunned wonder* My dad worked with Janet Reno in Dade before she moved on to the Clinton Admin. He really liked and respected her.

Have also read a little about your re-model. I've so been (and am still) there. Kitchens are the worst because there's no other in the house to replace it. I remember eating White Castle microwave burgers for weeks. We've since started on our exterior, which includes a pop-up, new windows and stucco. We still need to re-do all the landscaping and finish the interior. Our continuing mantra has been "aaaoohhhmmmmmm, this too shall pass, aaaaaoooohhmmmmm"; because it's either that or large doses of valium. If I go to Numbus, maybe we can compare before and after pics.

And hey, I remember thinking 37 was absolutely freezing!

Hey Heidi....did you notice that Empire Online is now quoting The Leaky Cauldron for their movie news? :-)

Thought that was funny.

It's 6 today. Heat wave compared to yesterday's -15. Then again, this is Ohio....it'll be 75 by Monday, I'm sure.

A snowy Disney World....how fun!

37 degrees...*grumbles* wish it were that here. The high for today was 13 degrees. Ahh, Michigan, where you can get sunburn and frostbite all in the same week.

Heh. I think it was in the 70's today. Yeah for being in one of the hottest places in the continental U.S. right now. *G*

Hon, if you want some real cold you're more than welcome to come on up for a visit. We just finished a week of -40 C weather, though next week looks like it will be closer to -10 (accompanied by snow every second day if the Weather Network is to be believed). :)
