Dec. 23rd, 2002 12:51 pmJust tried to sign into ffn for the first time in a long long while, because they actually added something I wanted to give a peek to:
FA's had that since we started - but as my first year of reviews of fanfic in the fandom were on ffn, I was curious about some of my early reviews - even I don't remember what I said about things like Call of the Wild anymore.
So I go to log in, and I have it resend me my password, and when I try to use it, it says:
My single-chapters of my fics are no longer there, either.
Now, IIRC, ffn has recently been notifying people when they pull their fics down, or delete accounts, which is an improvement over their actions when accounts were deleted back in 2001 (no notice given) but *I* didn't get any notice.
Weird. Am off to send an email to the help desk. I doubt there will be a reply, but clearly, I'm still in the system, if my password is obtainable via the bot.
See, I didn't violate the TOU - and they didn't add anything to the TOU that says that if you don't use an account in a year, it will be deleted and your fics removed so... wtf?
Review History will display all the signed reviews you have ever submitted in reverse chronological order. Access to feature is available by logging into your account.

Date: 2002-12-23 06:33 pm (UTC)Sort of. They pulled a fic of mine back in April or May, and emailed me saying that I'd "violated the TOU." They did not say how I had done so, and they never replied to my repeated emails.
