And I hereby vow to watch the first one before we go to TTT so I won't be annoyingly leaning over ever few seconds with queries such as: "Wait, who's that again?"; "Okay, where are they going?"; "Er, could you explain that ring bit to me one more time?"

We are harassing, er, politely requesting that at least one of the theaters here (Pinellas) do a midnight showing. But they don't seem to be interested. (Sure, do it for that execrable SW:AotC, but not for LotR:TTT... *grumble*) :(

Would love to come, but being halfway across the country is a rather irksome factor against that. My dad's so excited about it, though, that I think we might end up seeing it the first night, too.
