Nerve Magazine posts Harry Potter "fanfic".

Sorta.

Well, as far as such things go it was actually kinda nice. Poor little Hermione, though *sniffles*

That was, er, strangely peculiar...

I made it as far as the persistent throbbing in his pajama pants at which point I was too disgusted to continue.

Really terrible writing.

Why does no one understand the nature of satire?

meh.

They could do with a proof-reader, too. Bobotubers? Maurader's Map? :)
Nice that Nerve have HP slash, but a shame they couldn't have done some research and got someone better to write it.

They could've done better, but it wasn't all too bad...

The interesting thing, from my point of view, was the lack of disclaimer - no acknowledgement of copyright, only the brief suggestion at the start that this was parody and so forth. Can you say "test case"? If we've ever wondered how the propertyholders felt about the general publication online of HP slash - in a reasonably prominent, reputable for-profit site - then we shall probably find out fairly soon, not least from whether the document remains available over time or not.

I do hope that nerve.com don't get in trouble as a result. Some of the other things they've featured have been pretty interesting reading.

Now I wonder if Lorelei Sharkey is covertly a member of the fandom...

You know, I would doubt she is, because if she was she would've known to use Steve's Lexicon to check her canon-accuracy.

Well, that was certainly unexpected.
