heidiJust back from New Jersey and playing catchup...
1. There was a high speed connection at the coffee bar in the hotel so I braved the nausea I face when around coffee these days and spent a little time Saturday and Sunday checking LJs and email, so I don't feel too out of step. I read most of the posts about the premiere, so even though I haven't seen the streaming video yet, I feel like I got the experience nicely.
2. We've started a poll on FA as to whether we should do uploads on the 15th and 16th - it's here. As I said there, one of the reasons we are considering this is because FA doesn't always upload the same day a fic is submitted, and for new fics by new authors, we rarely do. It seemed to some of the mods that if we did uploads on the 15th and 16th, when so many of our regular users are AFK themselves, the authors whose fics go up on those days might not get the same level of notice as they would if they were uploaded, say, on the 13th or the 17th. Is that an accurate take on the readers here? Or are we underestimating you guys?
