That does it! I'm never ever reading fanfic again. Well, at least not the published and insane variety.

Blast congress for extending the term of copyright in the first place. Or possibly for not extending it enough. Not sure anymore.

Could you post another link to it? For some reason, Amazon says I have a browser bug (wouldn't be surprised with IE). Thanks!

All I'm getting is a web browser "bug" error message. Wah!

the covers alone are sickening. i read two of the titles and quickly shut down netscape to reduce the risk of spreading the infection.

for a moment i thought maybe you'd read *my* fanfic. i saw insane - but not published. then i re-read...

*phew*

Poke my eyeballs out now! Ugh...I'll curse these books forever more.

I love Louisa May Alcott's works and fie on those who rip them off! At least like this. Ugh!

That's like well, like, what we do with our favourite fandoms, except someone is getting paid for this and it's being endorsed. Ew! :PPP

Actually, there are some fandoms I refuse to touch. I won't read or write fanfics for them...mostly to do with works of literature (with the exception of Harry Potter fandom). Movies/television and graphic series are fair game a far as I'm concerned, but literature based fandoms always scare me a little bit, with the exception of HP fandom, although, there are moments when I'm seriously scared.

Still, this series of books are foul. Just plain foul...seems a few readers would agree.

Whoa! You can make money doing that? Am frightened. The rip off on GWTW was bad enough, but "Little Women"? Is nothing sacred? Wait. I know better than that. Money talks. Oh, but the shame of it all. *Hopes that "Black Beauty" and "Old Yeller" won't suddenly get ripped off. Or "Beautiful Joe" or "Bambi" (The real one, not the Disney one" or...*

With that icky vision, I'll go have some coffee to return to my usual acidic state. Too much sweetness...
