Grandma Update - surgery was this AM and she came through it fine. She ate a bit of ice cream and real food this evening, and is expected to be out of the hospital and in a orthopedic rehablitation place before the weekend, if all goes well.

Wow! Sounds like she's in great health (broken hip notwithstanding). Hope she continues to do well. I was talking to my grandmother about a friend of hers who'd fallen and broken her hip. Mimi (my grandmother) has a theory: you don't fall and break your hip. Your hip breaks and then you fall. Not sure if she's on to something or not.

Anyway... happy thoughts to your grandmother.
