June is almost upon us. And as the merry month of May ends, my universe is about to get very very busy.

Simon is taking a sabbatical for his birthday. John is doing Madrigals around the UK. Paul is moving cross country. Gwen is AFK. Yen is also AFK (and we hope she's feeling better)

I love you all but I do not have time for LJs. I don't have time for chats. I do not have time for fandom wars. I don't have much time for YMs about anything that isn't actually directly related to FA fics, art and/or boards. I need to finish SoC and more importantly, I need to keep the site together - while Jon and Amber and Plu and Liss and Connie and Jason and everyone else on FA is wonderful in terms of keeping the site running like clockwork, the burden of keeping everything organized (other than the tech stuff) and manning the help desk, which we usually share with others, is now pretty much on me and Stacey for a bit - actually, for all of June. please understand. it's not you. It's not anyone. We're just leaving the fandamonium for a few weeks, to concentrate on the Fandom.

So... if you don't see posts from me in my LJ about anything other than new FA stuff, or if I don't post replies in yours or if I'm not available to chat - remember that it's not personal. I'll be able to pick my head up a bit more when SoC is finished and the boys ( + gwen and Yen) are back in town.

Perfectly understandable

Sorry to hear things will be stressful for you in the coming month.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I am a fast learner, very diplomatic, and run internet projects and systems for a living - so techspeak is my third language. I would be happy to help answer questions/e-mails/posts whatever. Feel free to buzz me if you need a break.

Elia

Nothing personal with it at all - good luck with everything Heidi - to you and Stacey for the month of June, and since I haven't said it recently, just saying thanks to you (and the other mods) for all the work that you put into keeping things organized on FA Park and the Four Houses :) wheee - don't know what I'd be doing to kill the time between books and I don't think I would've met some of the great people that I did without this place, this getaway from RL on the net...

Hope it doesn't get too stressful for you,
~Sabs

*taps head* wasn't fully awake when I responded earlier - I also offer to help out in anyway - just let me know and I can give it a shot - even if it's only for a limited amount of time - am learning html and usually am a quick learner once shown how to do things

If I can help somehow, let me know. I'm still unemployed so it's not like I've got anything better to do. LOL May as well make myself useful somehow...

If those at FA need any assistance - you have before you one very bored fifteen-year-old with lots of time on her hands for the next two months. I have decent HTML knowledge and would be more than happy to lend a hand, if hands are needed!

:) Love Gordon

I'd love to help out, even if just a little, for June if you need any help. I know HTML, I type fast, I've been using computers since I was tiny, my dad teaches computer subjects (so I can always ask him for help if anything happens), I learn quickly, I can figure things out and I'll have some time on my hands. Just e-mail me (a_big_schnoogle@hotmail.com) or leave an offline message at my Y!M account (a_big_schnoogle) if you want me to do something.

No worries about anything, and like all the kind people above me have offered, if you need "seasonal staff" or any help with FA at all, I've got fairly decent HTML skills, and I've BETAread for 2398 people before, so my spelling etc's pretty up there. Just drop me a line: AndForAllThis@aol.com

Someone's a little rusty on his Milton. (Hope it's not me!) Pandaemonium IIRC is the City of Satan from Paradise Lost. Is Fandamonium the City of Stacey?

What flavour? Raspberry are good. Lemon too. And is this French tarts? in which case the tarte au abricot is excellent.

I'm pretty sure it's Palace... The infernal peers sit there in council... cf. pantheon

*huggles* We all understand, Heidi! We're already incredibly grateful for all the wonderful work that you (and the others) do for us. :)
