ADV: A Moderate-Sized Favour

As many of you know (and have debated to some extent), FictionAlley now is an "Associate" of Warner Bros' WBShop site. This means that any purchase made on the WB site by clicking here nets 10% of the purchase (exclusive of tax and shipping) to FictionAlley to cover our hosting service fees, which are about $200 a month right now.

We all know that the movie comes out on DVD and VHS next Tuesday - and I am sure that many of you have pre-ordered it from Amazon or at your Friendly Neighborhood Blockbuster or somewhere else.

Would you mind terribly ordering it from the WB Shop instead? Yes, it means you won't have the dvd in hand until probably next Thursday or so, but... we'd really appreciate it. If you'd rather get it from Amazon, click here for the DVD or here for the VHS version. Or just click here to make a donation to FA - even a dollar is appreciated.

Do you get something from Amazon as well? If yes, how about adding the other international Amazons? Like the German one. I think there are a lot of Germans on FAP and since I already buy a lot from them.

There are links at the bottom of the FA Park to the Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk using equivalent schemes to the one with WB. Products ordered at either, when you have gained access to the sites through those links, nets 5% to FA.

I am looking at Amazon.de - but it amy be problematic (as non of the mod team is German based). I am trying to figure out the site, but my German is a little basic!

Definitely not disgruntled. It's always nice to see there's a way we can help out with keeping FA going. How about those of us who don't have credit cards to make online purchases? Is there a way we can donate?

Yes, like Sheryll I would be interested in helping out even if I can only donate a dollar but I can't use the credit card *as the payments still go back to my father while I'm still in college* so would there be possibly another way? - I will have to see about the ordering of the DVD - mayhaps will ask a friend to order it for me with hers... and not to worry - I'm not disgruntled :)

Well, I for one am terribly disgruntled...nah. I'm not even slightly gruntled. :D

Although I would love to help out FAP by ordering through the WB shop...I just can't wait the few extra days for the DVD to arrive in the mail. But I went to the PayPal at Amazon.com instead and made a wee donation. :D
