Welcome Back Jason & Thanks to Amber

heidiI am finally back and able to sit at the computer to deal with a few site-housekeeping things.
First of all, a heartfelt apology to anyone whose fic took a little longer than normal to be uploaded over the past 2 weeks. Between the movie opening and Thanksgiving, we knew things would be slow, but we were also dealing with the then-unexplained disapearance of one of our primary uploaders, Jason Fraser.
For almost 2 weeks, we didn't know where he was, and we were certainly panicking - finally, we got an email from him, telling us that he was now fine, but had been rushed to hospital with apendicitis. He's better now, and back doing uploads - and we are so happy to have him back among us!
On a related note, thanks to Amber for the wonderful job she did in uploading fics for all the houses by herself while Jason was ill, even while she was traveling for the holidays herself.
On an unrelated note, start thinking about Hanukah, Solstice, Christmas, Kwanza and New Year's fics - we'll be doing special uploads for each of the holidays, with notices in the BLOG and on Chapter Owls. We're also partnering with <A HREF="http://www.yahoogroups.com/group/hp_paradise>HP Paradise</a> for a special holiday fanfic extravaganza; more details will be announced here by Ebony or George Weasley's Girlfriend next week. Stay warm (or cool, if you're in the southern hemisphere), stay safe, and stay inside your local movie theater as much as possible!
