And this morning, I was watching VH1 Classic and they played Swing Out Sister's Breakout which I haven't seen for at least 11 years. It came out summer of 1987 and I've been a fan ever since. When Ally McBeal started the trend of having a Theme Song, I couldn't choose between Breakout and their Am I The Same Girl? And the thing is, I still remember every move of Corrine Drewery's head and hands and arms in the video - I flipped my hair along with her, did the fist in the air gesture, could count the beats as the figures moved - the information is imbedded somewhere in my brain.
