Brief thinkiness about tonight's SPN
Jan. 22nd, 2010 12:47 amSam says he's angry, and he doesn't know why. But he has good reasons (and bad reasons, and silly reasons and smart reasons) to be angry - but either he doesn't see them as good reasons, or rational reasons, or perhaps...
Perhaps he thinks - consciously, subconsciously, whatever - that Dean has as many reasons if not more to feel anger, to be angry - but Dean is hardly ever angry. Or if he is, he does what he said in the end of the ep and shoves it down, such that Sam must've thought for years that Dean doesn't get angry. At least not at him (possibly also, not at John).
Yes, we've seen Dean be angry in front of Sam, and even at Sam, especially with the whole separation earlier in this season, and I'm not sure exactly how that's impacted Sam's perspective on Dean. But I wonder if Sam's statement there wasn't the 18 year old who is angry at everyone around him, but doesn't see any manifestations of anger from the one person who he trusts.

Along those lines, who's seen the last two pages of the new SPN comic book?
