Curses! Entertained, again!

LOVE. I MEAN I LOVE YOU ALL. Or at least, all of you who've been talking Teen Wolf. I finally had time to sit down and mainline every single episode and I just finished and it is the most adorable mess of a show that I have seen since maybe S3 of SPN (which, yeah, tonal parallels).

The (currently living) adults are all awesome, the (currently living) kids are all awesome, everyone is just awesome and I love all of it and nobody is ever totally dead and I've heard casting spoilers for next season but I choose not to believe they're absolute or definitive for all future things.

I have more to babble (like my growing adoration of Isaac and my perpetual adoration of Lydia) but I have to pick kids up from school, so just... please give me fic recs - anything gen or crossover, anything AU, and anything involving futurefic or far-past-fics involving Peter Hale/Chris Argent, and/or Chris/Sheriff Stilinsky please? I feel all these MWPP undertone-feels except everyone has a furry little problem.

When will S3 air? June???

We'll start with fluffy AU: DILF: Derek adopted baby Scott and Jackson after his sister was killed. Enter Mr. Stilinski, Scott's teacher. Cue adorable romance.

Not AU, but adorable: The Adventures of Ginger and Stiles: continuing the Stiles makes Instant Friends with Awesome Drag Queens theme of the show. Says WIP, but it's not really. Very cute.

Darling it is no joke. Must read. Sorta-AU. Derek is a deputy sheriff and meets Stiles when Stiles is back in Beacon Hills after college.

Hyper Heart Alone. Heartbreaking but amazing. Stiles comes back to Beacon HIlls to help his father after an injury and has to find his place in the pack again.

C'mon Now SugarVeronica Mars Fusion. Stiles and Laura Hale were best friends, until someone murdered her. Now, Stiles is on the outside of the Beacon Hills social circle and still trying to solve her murder. Also, what the hell is Derek's problem with him?

Lastly, I'm not a huge fan of the alpha/omega verse, but this one is actually really good. Alpha Spikes. The setup is spectacularly trope-ridden (Alphas come in and buy virgin omegas for a weekend, what even) but once you get past that, it's a really nice romance complete with all the feelings.

Ugh, me and the flatmates watched S1-2 in about two weeks and then were bereft. Yes, Isaac completely. I was meh about him but then he was adorable and needed reassurance and just, yes.

I have lots of fic bookmarked.

Probably my favourite ever TW fic is a long, plotty, gloriously pack-feel filled future!fic called (Sacred) In the Ordinary by idyll.

I also point people in blue_meridian's direction, who is a constant reccer who helped me navigate the frankly HUGE fandom.

Just a couple of quick things:

You, Heidi, should probably NOT READ Sacred in the Ordinary, because there's a LOT of children-in-danger stuff going on in it and that's a no-go for you. I have a lot of other problems with that fic, actually, but for YOU as a person, don't read it. It gets rec'd a lot, so that's a thing you should know.

Very much seconding DILF particularly for its fairly realistic and age-appropriate kids.

aliassmith has great recs.

I would also second Alpha Spikes but for a very specific reason: unlike a lot of omegaverse fics, it deals very intentionally and very well with consent issues. It has plot holes you can drive a truck through, and falls apart a little at the end, but just for that positive it's worth a read for me.

And then I second most of sundancekid's recs, especially that HP crossover where Stiles is Luna, and You Are Here which I beta'd and which verity wrote and which has drag queen!Stiles.

oh, and Aim Our Arrows High which I also beta'd for the TWBB and is Lydia/Allison and is awesome.

There are certain tropes that abound in TW fandom that I'm not a huge fan of, like "Stiles fucks off for many years and comes back and Derek is closer to his dad than he is" or "Stiles becomes super hot when he goes away to college and comes back and seduces the heck out of Derek." But I'll second the Darling It Is No Joke rec, too.

But I'd like to also rec to you things that don't have (not even exaggerating) 2000 kudos so I'm going to look through some bookmarks and get back to you. There will probably be femslash.
