I needed a good night's sleep after that!

2. If Dean does not pay for sex (as per Sin City) then how does he know how things go down at a brothel? Perhaps because (as Jensen implied once) he's been on sale in one? (No, more likely he's taken someone to one before but I will choose to believe the Occasional Sex Worker backstory.
3. Lucifer definitely did not take the boys out of the church and onto the plane. He wanted Sam to be there for vesseling purposes, so he wasn't the one who did the blasting. Which screws with Rafael's theory, and makes me wonder if Rafael was lying to Castiel on purpose, or if he just did not know that Sam is meant to be Lucifer's vessel. Does Castiel know? When will Sam tell Dean?
3a. Lucifer may have brought back Castiel, not so much to have another rebellious angel around but to keep Sam and Dean apart because he knows the best way for Sam to hand himself over is if he and Dean are apart.
4. Sam kissed Lucifer! HA!

SO for Castiel, the post-apocalyptic life is all Burning Man, all the time?
And Sam is definitely a white-suited vessel for Lucifer because of his broken-heartedness after Dean rejects him for something and the only way Dean can prevent that happening is for him and Sam to get back together forever and try to reach that Happily Ever After. I am sort of hoping for a metaphorical Gift of the Magi scenario here.

4. Yes, giggle fits over that. But then again, Lucifer isn't bad-looking LOL.
And I'm hoping that next week Dean will confront his own personal demons.

Date: 2009-09-25 05:05 pm (UTC)I know big basics, like about Castiel's arrival and Sam's circumstances at the time, because I've been watching you guys squee about it for three to four years now and not really paying huge amounts of attention, but absorbing it anyway. (I always like it when people on my flist are excited about things, even when I have no idea what's going on!) It's kind of fun, actually, to watch through them this way and sort of know what's happening in the future so I can connect the dots together. I'm dying to know what kind of kiss Sam gave Lucifer though. Like if it was just a chaste subservient one or what. I know the show likes to toy with fandom, so I feel like I can't ever just assume things!

And what is this about comic book time lines!? Are there Supernatural comics I should be finding?
Dean's 'Then let it end' was about the part where I really lost it. Igh. My ovaries are trying to kill me, and this show isn't helping.

Date: 2009-09-25 05:22 pm (UTC)The first series came out in the summer of 2007 - it was called Supernatural: Origins and was focused on the weeks after Mary was killed. The actual issues are hard to find, and there were some serious chronology errors, so I recommend trying to get the compiled-into-a-book version, which is on Amazon here. There are some short flash-forwards to when the boys are older, too. WOOBIES.
Rising Son, available here, focuses on the boys when Dean is about 14, and there are some hints about monsters and creatures found in seasons 3 and 4.
Origins is spoilery only through S2 - I mean, I read it after S2 and it gave me some things to think about afterwards but it isn't particularly spoilery.
There's a few other books, too, including John Winchester's Journal, which is fantasitc, and a book of creatures and monsters. The tie in novels by
