3. OH YEAH! PLOT! Mytharc plottiness! And evil!Angels, hurrah! I can't say I am shocked that there are evil angels out there, but it was actually fascinating the way that they wove it into the story.

4. I am also not surprised that John did not break - and I would think they didn't tell Dean while he was in hell because it would have given him impetus to resist, and I do think it likely that they put more pressure on Dean than they had on John because they knew the angels were making their way towards him - although I do wonder why the angels didn't go in after John but did go after Dean but perhaps it was because they didn't know that was her plan for John? Ah, it's all a wonderful gordian knot.

5. Yes, I do now see the homoerotic tension between Dean and Castiel. Misha, I finally truly understand what you were talking about in Jersey. There will, I predict, be many, many questions about this over this coming weekend!

6. And Show has also made it as explicit as they could exactly what some of the (rape) torture that Alisdair forced onto Dean.

I am utterly unspoiled except for what we saw in the preview at the end of this ep but feel free to tell me that this is the OMG AMNESIA EPISODE!!!!!!!!!! If it isn't, tell me now so I don't spend all next week in a giddy OMG AMNESIA EPISODE!!!!!!!!!! frenzy of YAYAYAYAYAYAY. Please, let me down easy.

2) HOLY HELL -- this episode was chock-full of all of my favorite things: Sam's crazy demon powers, Dean crying, Castiel existing (and YES tension, my jaw dropped when it became clear that HEAVEN HAD ASKED CASTIEL TO FEEL FEWER EMOTIONS ABOUT DEAN), angel plottiness, hurrah! Show show show!

3. Ever since we first met Uriel I knew he had zero love for humanity and could be jealous of us, but man, I didn't realize he'd gone darkside like that. Wow. And Anna, it's not often writers can pull the wool over my eyes in regards to who's evil and not, but a big huzzah to them for pulling the reveal of the angel killer off. I thought the red herring (Anna being there when the water valve went twisty was too obvious to be a red herring). And the convos between her and Castiel. Silly me. The SPN writers must be some of the best in the business as I think they've pulled the wool over my eyes/ pulled a rabbit out of the hat more times than any other show I've ever seen.

5. You're just now seeing the UST between Dean & Castiel? It hit me from the first(?) conversation they had in when he revealed his wings and laid his hands on Dean's arms. So I've been torn about him all season. I love my Wincest, but the chemistry between Castiel and Dean is very magnetic. So I hate to love him. I don't want my boys torn apart.

Next week - *SQUEES* over the amnesia episode with you. Wonder if the Trickster has anything to do with this. *snickers at the slicked hair of corporate!Dean*
