For
lazy_daze, a (130 word) coda for Supernatural 3.11
Title: Journey's Underway
Spoilers for: SPN 3.11
Summary: It's a run-on Wednesday, too. Sorta-semi-pseudo-GEN. One sentence. Pushing 140 words.
After Wednesday, after that never-ending Wednesday, Sam keeps all of Dean's things in his duffel, and it stays in the car for days and weeks so the fumes from the fuel and the car stay trapped in it because it's a remnant of Dean and eventually, he starts pulling out a shirt at night, or a pair of briefs, and holding it as he goes to sleep because if he does more than hold it, Dean's scent will disappear from the cloth far too quickly and terribly, so Sam starts shredding everything, cutting off a sleeve or a hood or a stripe of cloth and of course he'll never hurt the jacket and nobody needs to know that he sometimes puts it on the pillow beside him as he sleeps and packs back into his own duffel before he makes the solitary bed.

Title: Joke (I'm Laughing)
Spoilers for: SPN 3.11
Summary: She gets a phone call on Friday. About 220 words. Torchwood crossover.
It's Friday when the phone call comes. She doesn't recognize the phone number, but she doesn't recognize a lot of the numbers that show up on Caller ID and she always answers it no matter what because what if it's someone with information or an answer, and what if it's her dad?
There's a slew of 1's at the start of this number and she vaguely remembers from her time in the Harry Potter fandom that those 1's mean a call is from the UK so she almost doesn't pick it up this time as it's four in the morning and she does need to sleep please sleep, but she does.
The voice is American but he says he's in Cardiff, Wales. There's a man in his office who gave her number as next of kin, so he's emailing her a photo that he just took, could she look at it please?
It could be another hoax, perhaps a photoshop of one of the pictures on her dad's website, but when she sends back a camphone photo of herself and the man - Jack - says it matches a photo in her dad's wallet. They ask how soon she can get to London where a car will be waiting for her, and she's at West Palm Beach's airport and on a plane under three hours later.
