Warning. Spoilers for SPN 3.11 and the preview of 3.12 shown at the end of 3.11 behind the cut.

I can forgive the lack of palm trees and the absence of sunshine because Broward can be as overcast as Vancouver.

Because, you, Show, constantly deliver the best, most engaging, most heart-pounding episodes ever (even though I did predict, as I'm sure many of you did as well, that Bobby wasn't really Bobby, although I wasn't sure he was Trickter or one of the Illusions).

Because Sam becomes just like the John-that-existed-after-Mary-died because it's the only way he can continue breathing after Dean dies - he hunts the thing that he believes killed the person he loves. This will be fic soon, yes?

Because you know how usually, one of the people in the scene before the credits ends up dead? Yeah, they did that in this episode. 100 or so times (although how many did we see? six?). Hee!

Because Jensen does good death scenes, and great death scenes, and even really wiggy death scenes featuring only his legs.

Because Sam's thought for a second there that the dream was about a midget clown, as Dean is both to him, in a sort of sarcastic way.

Because Jared does misery and emo and tragedy really, really well (and has improved a hella lot in the last five-plus years wow)

Because there was hugging and I know that a lot of people have already started writing missing scenes from this episode.

Because Dean figuring out to talk to the girl is just smart, and Dean really is, and I adore that about him.

Because there was soap. Deadly soap, but still, soap. Also gargle-ing. How is that spelled, anyway?

Because the scene where they're talking in tandem? Deserves an Emmy. They're so perfectly in sync (but I can't wait to see if there are outtakes of that on the Blooper Reel in the next dvd).

Because until tonight, I was completely unspoiled for the next episode except that I knew that Hen(d)ri(c)ks(e)n was going to be in it, and despite the fact that I tend to avoid jail-fics and apocolypse-fics like, er, the plague, I cannot wait for that episode to air because the preview looks fan-fucking-tastic.

Because Show is funny and emotional and wrenching and full of love and made of love, all in under 45 minutes, and that is just...

Wow.

Squee.

Or, as I told [livejournal.com profile] cedarlibrarian before, skldfjasioetua8owu4tdgh~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111.

Sam is so intense and hardcore when he's desperate and miserable and it's - he is - scary, and wasn't the trickster right on the level of dysfunctional in him? You can tell he wrote this up as some big expose for Hell Weekly (in a freelancer sort of way).

And the Dean singing is going to find its way into omg so many vids! I personally would love an animated icon of it if anyone sees such a thing. :D

I do find the trickster fascinating, and I'm hoping that in S3(b) or possibly in 4, they team him up with the boys in some sort of way, especially if Show continues in this mode of having Not Everything Supernatural Be Evil And Worth Killing

Speaking of [livejournal.com profile] cedarlibrarian, her birthday is coming up - so in her honor, please enjoy a sneak preview of A Noun Is a Person, Place or Thing, As Explained By Sammy Winchester, which I think will be my last SPN parody set to a Schoolhouse Rock grammar song. Science, otoh....

They were way wrong about Richardson (in that awful "Hell House" ep) -- it's a suburb, not the middle of nowhere. :p

And yeah, I was very \o/ about the preview for next week.
