How would the YED have convinced Sammy to go to the graveyard in Wyominc?

Would he have offered to bring John and Mary back? To let the boys have a safe and secure life and little world?

Would Sam have crossed those lines to get those treasures and rescue John from hell? Save his family at the expense of the world?

I don't think so. But I think the YED would have thought he would.

Dean is Inigo Montoya - and Sammy is Wesley. Dean is even treating him like Inigo treats Wesley after Miracle Max brings him back - he's been mostly dead all day! He needs to rest!

And I still don't think Ash is most sincerely dead.

Oh, Dean and your terrible self-esteem! Why o why, woobie, do you think so little of yourself? Who said that without John and Sam, Dean would off himself and this crossroads deal was Suicide By Demon? Yes, it totally was.

When Sam died? The YED totally texted all the other demons with the news - it was all over Hell within moments.

And John heard it and was ready to claw his way out and oh, he did.

In this year that Dean thinks will be his last, he'll turn 29. That's how old Mary was when she was killed, right? According to the comic book timeline, iirc? I wonder if that'll be mentioned or acknowledged?

Where *did* they get pizza and chineese and chicken and soda? Was that what Bobby had been bringing to Dean over the time that Sammy was dead?

I know people have been wondering if Sammy would go t th e underworld but other than the possibility of the demon blood impact there's no reason why sammy would be consigned to Hell. But Dean's traded his soul to a demon, so he would be sent if he died - so gah, if Sam doesn't keep him from being taken, will Sam have to go into Hell to get Dean out?

Could Sam control demons without being negatively impacted by it? What would he have to do to get those sorts of powers?

I love how Sammy would rather save Dean from the YED than close the door to Hell. It's the proper counterpart to Dean's "Then let it end!" earlier in the episode.

I love how when Sam says, what do you think my job is, dean's reaction is basically ?wtf? So so so sweet.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] affectingly just reminded us that she worships at the alter of Kripke.

I said that, though someone else might've too, but, yes. And looking at it that way is even more heartbreaking (to me) than just considering it to be a sacrificial act, because. WAH.

*cracks up* Unless it'd been bragging for the last couple of years that only the Winchesters were tough enough to take down it's own spawn, and he was totally going to turn that younger one, and then was all embarassed when Sam got offed by some unknown yokel without even turning a hair. :P

What would he have to do to get those sorts of powers?

I want to know, dangit! I hope this is addressed next year.

Ooh, good point. <3

I've already talked, did the squees, and read... GAH, I love Supernatural! But there's no such thing as too much SPN!

I think Sam would sacrifice the world. At the end of the episode, Sam said he would do anything for Dean.

Why o why, woobie, do you think so little of yourself?

Absolutely amazing moment of acting!

Could Sam control demons without being negatively impacted by it? What would he have to do to get those sorts of powers?

I think it's possible based on Andy (AKA my super power is projecting gay porn - NBC's new 'Hero' {g}). And it seems Sam may be capable of all the powers seen by the 'special children' (i.e. psychic visions, mind control, power to kill with a touch, strength... which I think ties into telekinesis like what's seen from Max and Sam being able to move a heavy cabinet with his mind), *if* he chooses to 'embrace' and hone his skills.
