They just awarded Barack Obama the Nobel Peace Prize.

Has it ever been given to a head of state within 9 months of his or her taking office?

Oh, the right wingers' heads will explode! Can't wait to see how this is covered. Were there any rumors of this beforehand? And is a nobel better than bringing Olympics to Chicago?

(and since I'm being political, kudos to both Florida's senators for voting for Franken's bill that would strip govt contracts from companies that require binding arbitration for employees who are sexually assaulted at work. The 30 republicans who voted against it? I have no words for their vile-ness.)

(btw, still have not seen Show. I had a sleepless kid from 915 thru 230 am last night. No spoilers, please - except I know who the Guest Star was.)

1. Show was fantastic. That is not a spoiler. I may have time to write more tomorrow, but suffice to say, I can't wait to vid with this episode. Unfortunately for autumn_lilacs, I have to start over with the Sweet Charity vid I was making for her, because my internal hard drive, which had all my eps of SPN S4 on it, crashed last week, which means the editing I'd already done is lost. But it's all in my head, so I should be able to finish it by the 20th-ish.

2. Radar has uploaded a fantastic interview with Michael Salling, who plays Puck in Glee - stay through the end, because he does a solo while accompanying himself on piano, and it's just shiny.
