Volunteers Needed for FictionAlley
May. 7th, 2006 07:30 amAs always happens with the transition to summer, FictionAlley is in need of new coding staff members, and you can learn more/get the application here.
And when I say "in need", I mean desperately in need. In March and April, the turnaround time for fics was three or four days; now it's pushing beyond our pledge of 10, and there's no way the current team can do more than they are - we're simply understaffed.
Since we're a 501(c)(3), one may be able to get "service" credits for volunteering with FA, or even independent study credits.
And given that the last two applications that came in included things like "Griffindor" and "Mr. And Mrs. Weasley", we really need *good* applications.
So please, help if you can, even if you can only help thru the summer.
