(no subject)

Just had to drop about a dozen names from the flist - most of them were abandoned, or secondary/tertiary accounts of people who are already on my flist under a different name, but if I dropped something I shouldn't have, or if I dropped someone who is still reading my LJ, then let me know. Comments are screened.

Is it Amazon or is it me?

I'm trying to get to http://www.amazon.co.uk/default.asp and for some reason, my mac keeps loading something called Vertex Internet. Was Amazon hacked or might I have some evil redirector on here? Does anyone have a rec for an adaware-like program for a mac?

Updated: This might be related to their downtime a week ago, perhaps?
