It is so dark right now, it looks like it's 4am, not 7. That's good, it means the boys are still sleeping. Maybe when sunrise happens in 30 min it will brighten a bit.
Winds are high and annoying but not traumatizingly so. Let's hope they stay this way.

Wilma update

wordplay, posting on Heidi's behalf. Wilma has passed and left their town and surrounding areas without power for the foreseeable future, so Heidi will be offline until power is restored. She is still reachable via the Sidekick and she's charging her cell phone in the car, so she's not completely incommunicado, but expect the networks to be overloaded and responses delayed.
The house is generally OK; they've lost some trees and some roof tiles but everyone is safe, if perhaps becoming a little stir crazy. Here's hoping for a quick response by the power company.
