1. Has anyone seen the cool new colour add-ons for sidekicks? They have red, yellow, blue, purple and white - but I couldn't find green, which disapointed the Slytherin in me - so can anyone guess which one I chose to use? I have leftover yellow & white ones left, if that's a hint - does anyone with a sidekick want the other two?
2. Went to a fundraiser last night. Food was fine, decor was amazing, house was a little sterile and weird - made of concrete and supposedly some sort of architectural gem but we're lucky nobody tripped or fell into the jacuzzi. Amazing elements were the coconut cheesecake brownie deserts and the chocolate fountain. I seem to be vaguely chocolate-obsessed this week...
3. The TWH meme, gacked from the planners of The Witching Hour:

Occupation... Lawyer. Fandom lawyer. FA admin. Mom. Fandom mom.
I love Harry Potter because... About ten years ago this week, I joined a list called The Friends Zone, which became my first online community of adoration. In 1998, someone mentioned this book called Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone, and I ordered it from amazon in October. And read it. And ordered CoS from Amazon.co.uk. And read it. And preordered PoA from amazon.co.uk, which arrived three weeks before my Harry was born. And in that book, there was Sirius Black. And Remus Lupin. And then a few months lateri discovered HPFGU. Then I heard about a sirius-centric fanfic. Then I started Paradigm of Uncertainty and started discussing Draco's role in the books and oh, it all just snowballed from there.
I am going to The Witching Hour because... Really, I <3 fandom. And fandomers. And I love hanging out with same. POAIMAXNYC and Nimbus were so amazing - how can I miss a repeat performance of all that?
I think the Sorting Hat put me in... Hufflepuff. What, the one at the WB museum did...
I want to go and fangirl/boy... Everyone, wheee! Seriously - anyone who's made any sort of contribution to fandom, and/or anyone who's made any contribution to the event itself is fixin' for a fangirling from me.
You will most likely find me... On my sidekick, doing realtime posts on what's up at the event.
You will never find me... Playing quidditch. Nope, not interested, sorry.
I will most likely win House Points for... Good sportsmanship, I hope!
I will most likely lose House Points for... Drawing. My artistic talents are nil. Ngative, in fact.
My ideal Room of Requirement would be... Filled with lots of squishy armchairs and a chocolate fountain and a lemonade fountain and... Book seven.
If you say "hi" to me, I will... Show you photos of my kids, and ask you to sign my TWH program. It's like a yearbook for the school that is fandom. Sort of.
