Oh, and does anyone still have my "Does Lucius Know?" D/Hr icon from around the release of CoS? I can't find it and would love to get it back...

Mar. 25th, 2004 10:09 amI was asked overnight for a link so someone could buy West Wing Season Two on dvd via Amazon in an FA-supporting way, so I created this for her.
For anyone - if you want to buy something from Amazon and help FA, you can use the following process:
1. Go to the product on Amazon. Look at the ASIN or ISBN number - it should be the number after the slash after either ASIN or ISBN in the url.
2. Copy that number and paste it in the blank part of this url: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ /fictionalley-20/103-5023706-3049451
3. Paste the full url, including that ASIN or ISBN, into your address section of your browser window. And you'll be able to buy the product while helping FA (we get a larger commission for books than for other stuff, at least for the time being...)

TLC is back up!
Mar. 25th, 2004 04:37 pmMost of you probably noticed that we were completely shut down this morning; this is by no means a negative reflection on our wonderful site hosts, Mantissa.net, who do all they do for us for free - because they too are HP and TLC fans - and always provide attentive assistance when we need it.
No, it just meant we went more than 230 GB over our monthly allowance of bandwidth. We are looking into storage solutions for our higher-res files, and optimizing everything (you'll notice the java/animated elements on this page have been flattened for now), and will keep you updated on the goings-on in that area.
It also means we're probably going to have to take down the shot-by-shot until we can mirror it on some other sites, so we don't overload the server again. We'll let you know.
If we do go down again, we have a backup LiveJournal (right here at
We'd also like to thank Jeff from HPANA for helping us out getting the word out about our down time.
