A study in contrasts
Feb. 22nd, 2004 02:35 pmLast night we went to this gala for the hospital near us - lots of fun, James Bond theme, great appletinis and cosmos (I had three and was more than three sheets to the wind for my pains). Food was fiercely mediocre, though, unfortunately. They were nice enough to have caviar but served it with frozen potato pancakes, which was just wrong.
And now, today, we're in the everglades, and we just saw an aligator. I hope nothing eats us - luckily, it's a low-mosquito day.
I am definitely not at one with nature.

In other news, Jon is enjoying his sippy cup a lot. Yay.
