Oct. 2nd, 2003 11:50 amWe had a well-baby visit this morning, so here's an update on Jon:
1. He's about 16 lbs (just around 70th percentile) and 26 inches (75th percentile). His head, however, like Harry's, is on the small side - 40th percentile. I don't know, I have kids with small heads.
2. He didn't cry at all for the first two of the three vaccines he had today - his expression was more, "What the hell was that?" - but he did wail a bit on shot #3. Poor ickle wooblet. I bought him a toy afterwards, but I don't think he registered it much. He was very tired.
3. He's started on solids now - over dinner these past few weeks, he was looking as if he wanted to have some of what we were having, so 2 weeks ago, I handed him a spoon. He put it right in his mouth. About 10 days ago, I started mixing some of my milk with baby rice cereal and he took to it wonderfully. So now, he's having a serving of either baby rice or baby oatmeal each evening while the rest of us have dinner.
Next week, bananas!
I need to play with my website a bit, and then I'll have some new images up, because he is very, very cute.
