A bit of a watching delay today because of sleepless kids but now....

Wow.

Mr Bennett & Claire made me cry with the last scene.

The whole ep was an amazing roller-coaster and it's the *people*, not the "will they team up to fight crime", but the "what does this do to *lives* thing that's making me swoon and just be *so* into this series, and the stories.

Ickle Hiro was adorable, too! And didn't Eccles look *lovely* all clean-shaven?

I was also thinking about Mohinder's power-blocking substance, which he might be testing on Gabriel next week as per the promo - I know people have wondered how Peter could become scarred and is it possible that he gets dosed with it, either willingly or against his wishes?

And yay Petrellis next week. Will we ever get to spend a whole hour with *them*?

My one meh in the ep had to do with ickle!Claire's age - I was led to think she was 15-18 months old when the fire happened - if she's 15 years old now then 14 years ago...
But the baby? Was maybe 5 - 7 months old at the most and that doesn't mesh. Do we have anything definite, like from the primatech website?

I didn't get all the Eccles fangirling when he joined the show - but I got it last night when I saw this episode!

This was truly one episode where I was on the edge of my couch the entire time, not bored with even a second of the storyline. Bennett has always captured by attention and wow was he wonderful here. Plus, Claude! Ickle Hiro! Ickle Haitian Sensation! And this was the most I'd ever been invested with Matt's part of a storyline as well.

So yeah, basically a resounding wow. :)

It was very, very good. I posted about it over at my journal. I somewhat missed the characters who weren't featured, but the Bennetts and their storyline definitely captured my attention. And it was great seeing Chris in the flashbacks!

Yeah, there was really nothing to do but spend the whole episode on that bit of the story. So much packed in there. Wow. I, too, was sniffling and wiping eyes at the end and drooling over the clean-shaven Eccleston. And he can act, too! Amazing! XD

I rambled at length on my LJ about this episode but mostly I am still just thinking, "Wow. Just wow."

What happened to Princess Emoticon? I thought she went there with them.

How about the way that Claire looked when she was trying to get to Fallout Boy and then when she came out of the house? That was nightmare-inducing stuff.

I could not love this show more (unless maybe Patrick Stewart was in it).

I just love the Bennett/Claude backstory, and how so many of the pieces come together!

My thought at that point was that when Bennet said "old friend", he really meant "old friend". Yay backstory!

Mmmm. Patrick Stewart...*drools*

Sorry, you just made me lose all coherent thought. He would be so perfect!

Any way to justify his playing Mr Petrelli in flashbacks?

Well, it was either that or "900 year old friend" and hello, crossover! :D

True enough. Old friend = "special" friend.

Although, really, I sort of thought he meant Claude was just someone with a special ability that they knew about but didn't have any special relationship with.

I can see that. *hopes* Just as long as he got to ride in Hiro's father's limo...
