tabithajones and I just got back from Meg Cabot's reading in
Coral Gables - she was terrific and it's obvious why the nine yearolds
all want to be her. And the nineteen year olds.

She was a bit snarky, squeeful over google, coconspiratorial about her
Star Wars fanfic writing days when she was a tween and her princess of
choice was Leia, and made a point of talking about the beeyotch she'd
gone to school with, who wasn't actually "just mean" - she was stupid.
But she told it a lot better than I did.

And I now have a signed book to add to FA's holiday contest which will
be announced in the next few weeks. Squee!
