Some of you may've been around back in 2004 when my husband and I tag-teamed sitting out at our son's school all night to register him for kindergarten - to amuse me while I waited, [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge wrote the start of a fic that he later finished and called Registration.

When FA started working on a podcast play last spring, I asked Sam if we could use Registration as our first episode, and he said yes.

On April 19, he sent me the radioplay-version of Registration, and through the summer, FA's Becka (who some of you may recognize from SpellCast's Writers Corner) worked with an amazing cast, including Techie Jason from FA, [livejournal.com profile] gwendolyngrace, [livejournal.com profile] jiggery_pokery, [livejournal.com profile] amanuensis1, [livejournal.com profile] inthesewalls and [livejournal.com profile] zorac (did I leave anyone out?).

You can listen to it here or via iTunes (search under Podcasts for SpellCast).

If you're interested in acting in a future podcast play, either drop a comment here, or email us at SpellCast @ fictionalley.org. SO many thanks again to everyone who made it possible - and who made it AMAZING.

One quick note - the first half of the play is in this episode of SpellCast, and the second half will be in the Episode Seven. Once Seven's online, we will upload the entire play as a single file, but we need to upgrade FAP first...

I'd be interested in being in a future podcast play! *g* I think I wanted to be in this one and never managed to get in touch in time. (Er, if it's at all relevant, I'm female with a strong British accent.)

That would actually be really fun. For kicks a few years ago, I read the entirety of books one and two into my computer for my friend, Fred, and burned them to CD. He's blind, and he kept procrastinating at buying the audio tapes. (He's older - in his late 60's.)

I kept telling him he'd love the books. :)
