Gacked from HPANA re Young Marauders-era & Black casting

James Walters is to be Young Sirius Black, James Utchen will play a Young Remus Lupin and Alec Hopkins will portray Young Severus Snape in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, it was reported today by CBBC Newsround.

Helena Bonham Carter will replace Helen McCrory as Bellatrix Lestrange, as McCrory now expects to be "heavily pregnant" during what would have been her filming.

Is Helena still with Kenneth Branagh? I didn't remember.

ETA OK, she's with tim burton. Well, the past-history is still meta-amusing


If so, then the surreality of a Trelawney/Lockhart/Bellatrix triangle in the past would just over-meta my brain.

Other than that, I expect those three names to be among the most googled things today.

So I looked all 3 of them up, and all I got was pics of old, fat, white guys. The horror! Young!Sirius better be hot, that's all I have to say.

I have mixed reactions about the Bellatrix news. I love HBC, don't get me wrong, but I had become used to the idea of HMc as Bella, and plus she and Christian Coulson had that vaguely incestuous affair in "Charles II: The Power and the Passion" and it somehow made me all excited to have that weird, twisted Voldy/Riddle/Bella connection. But then I'm weird. I'm sure HBC will kick ass.

And....Bella versus Trelawney over Lockhart?! I would pay money to see that.
