I remember that I saw that film in Union Square in a theater that has a balcony, and when SMG says to RP that if he wins the bet he can put it "anywhere" some woman in the balcony shouted, "Oh My God she means in the butt!" and everyone shouted with laughter.

and it was originally called "Cruel Inventions" after the Sam Phillips song.

I love quality heckling, I really do. My boyfriend said the only thing that saved Hulk for him was a teenage boy in the front row standing up and shouting out 'Did somebody say dance?!' and proceeding to start a break dancing competition in the front of the cinema.

If you want to be technical..the original story name is called Dangerous Liaisons or Les Liaisons Dangereuses. It's just an updated version.

I don't know. It's not too much worse than some of the Smallville episodes I've seen commercials for on ABC Family. Now, if it were to air on say, regular ABC, I'd be a bit more taken-a-back. But not so much on a cable channel.

Oh, yes--I wasn't being technical; I was being trivial. This very film had been called Cruel Inventions all the way through production and then the marketing people changed it because the title confused people or something.

So it was. eh.. I prefer Cruel Intentions so much more. Cruel Inventions just doesn't conjure up the same image for me.

Yeah, it's been shown before on ABC Family, along with "Not Another Teen Movie" and some other... less than family movies. Heh.
