Wilma update

This is wordplay, posting on Heidi's behalf. Wilma has passed and left their town and surrounding areas without power for the foreseeable future, so Heidi will be offline until power is restored. She is still reachable via the Sidekick and she's charging her cell phone in the car, so she's not completely incommunicado, but expect the networks to be overloaded and responses delayed.

The house is generally OK; they've lost some trees and some roof tiles but everyone is safe, if perhaps becoming a little stir crazy. Here's hoping for a quick response by the power company.

Just saw a convoy of about 20 bucket trucks heading down I-10 toward Florida. Hopefully, they'll have power up and running soon.

My parents live in Port Charlotte and they did very well there, which isn't too far from Fort Myers. Just a few downed tree limbs, but much better than they did last year.
