heidiTheory rec of the week: Were Regulus & Sirius twins?
Snack food of the week: Pillsbury's ready-to-bake s'mores (especially if you let them cool and the marshmellows get all hard and stuff, yum)
Tropical weather system of the week: Alpha. We've never gone beyond the named systems before, and that's been in place for at least 60 years, IIRC. I think once we run our of letters, we should just start calling them "Uncle!" "No, we really mean it! We give in!" and "OMGWTF?" Although given the difficulty by the national weather people in pronouncing Punta Gorda, I think it would be fun to see them pronounce the latter.
