Regulus has been confirmed by a source of Lexicon Steve's to be RAB - his full name is Regulus Arcturus Black.

I know who Steve's source is, as it's someone I've communicated with as well, and I have faith in the accuracy of the information. And it makes me beyond squeeful, and I want to write write write but alas I have no time. The sheer fact of this, as I mused last month, however, means we'll most definitely learn more about the Blacks, and it might possibly explain why JKR killed Sirius and not, alas, Hagrid.
