I just upgraded to the new beta version of YM and it cleared out my entire message archive. Luckily, said archive is only 6 weeks old, as this is a new computer, but, still.

Urg...that's horrible. Then again...I've had issues with that program since the last upgrade since it bogs my entire PC down. It's just such a clunky program.

Yahoo does crap things like that with its "new versions." I can't even use Yahoo Messenger on Windows anymore. Yahoo doesn't support its old versions that work with Windows NT :( So if I want to use YM, I have to switch to Linux, where I don't know how to do anything except read email and use YM.
