's okay. I just saw all these weird numbers and somewhere someone called Florida for Bush and got worried. But it's better now.

Impossible. They haven't announced any numbers for miami-dade or broward yet. None.

I spent all day (7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., minus about 35 minutes for dinner around 6:00 p.m.) at the polling place for my ward. This is a ward that had 1,690 registered voters as of Monday 11/1. By 3:25 p.m. 1,000 people had voted. By the time I left at 8:00 p.m. 1,500 people had voted. All though the day there was a line of people trying to register to vote, which can be done on election day here (but it's foolish to wait till the end!!) I'm crossing my fingers :D

I think they reported counties from the North, not from the South. It is of course a bit over the top to use these numbers to call the race, but every vote counts even the ones in Northern Florida.
