We're organizing a drive to collect school supplies for kids who attend schools in the areas that were devestated by Hurricaine Charley. Click the url to see how you can help kids who've lost so much get ready for school (and especially for art and writing) again.

You might want to contact TPTB at Office Depot (I work there part time - although obviously not in Florida) to see if they'd be willing to donate some school supplies.

Also, going to individual stores and asking the managers to see if they'd be willing to donate supplies themselves might be worth a try. I've asked about different items on occasion myself for smaller situations and they've been pretty nice.
