My friend [livejournal.com profile] laughingirl has organized an amazing auction fundraiser in conjunction with the Avon Breast Cancer Walkathon - she's trying to raise ten thousand dollars - and one of the items she's put up for auction is a small stuffed breast cancer awareness bear with a tag attached thanking you for your donation to The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer... signed by Daniel Radcliffe!

Here's what she said on her LJ:

This auction is part of my fundraising effort to raise $10,000 for the 2004 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer (I'm walking 39 miles in October!). Once I've contacted the winning bidder, I'll ask you to make a tax deductible donation in the amount of your winning bid here and forward me the email sent to you confirming your donation. When I've received the notification, I'll send you the bear. I'll pay for USPS shipping in the US and Canda... if you want a different kind of shipping, or shipping to other countries, you'll have to pay the charges. Please let me know if this is the case.

She has a bunch of other bears & stuff up for auction, too, including bears with cards signed by Joey Fatone, Michael Moore, Kristin Chenoweth, Julie Andrews, Seth Green, Hugh Jackman and a Return of the King poster signed by Andy Serkis.

Check it out - but her autographed copy of The Eight is mine! Feel free, btw, to crosspost this!

HAHAHAAHAHA! It's cracking me up how people are posting this and then putting "But the so-n-so is mine! Don't touch it!"

:-D

Yeah, I'm hoping I end up with the Dreyfuss bear. I put out my bid on Daniel, too, but I KNOW that one will be ripped away from me very soon.

You know, I still need to read that book. Might help if I buy it first.

It's from the cover of The Eight by Katherine Neville which is one of the things Lisa has up for auction.

Well, yeah, but how would you be able to know unless you were familiar with the book?

Amn't. But...the mobius strip *does* look like an eight...and I checked your keywords after I got your last reply. *g* There's a pretty big clue there. *knocks self in head*

:) But I still like it. It's still a mobius strip. *grooves*
