I blame Jeb Bush.

(No, not seriously, but I'd like to. I wonder how many other power outages happened around the country tonight. Not sure if I'm more upset about missing watching Bill speak, or the fact that I'm clearly going to miss The Daily Show tonight wah.)

She was brilliant - I'm so sorry you couldn't hear/see her speak.

But fear not - I have no doubt it'll be up on the web in no time.

Bill Clinton is absolutely stirring right now. Are you able to watch? Are you in an area where you can hear AAR? They're live at the convention right now - all you need are batteries for your radio.

Uggg!!! that sucks for you!! I can tell you that Bill did a fabulous job! I've never really heared him speak before (I'm sort-of just getting into politics) and I was absolutely blown away!!! He used irony greatly to his advantage (talking about Bush's tax cuts and how he recieved them) and he really exccentuated Kerry's positive attributes, as opposed to solely Bush's negitive ones. I was less than thrilled by Hillary's speach, but it wasn't substandard for the evening. I'm sure you can catch a replay of both speaches tomorrow or any time this week, and to keep it positive, tonights Daily Show will be on tomorrow at 7 pm :D

Heidi, I never thought I'd have anything good to say about Bill Clinton, but his speech was incredible. Heh, while he was speaking, I was thinking that you'd probably be the first on my flist to post links to transcripts and such. Sorry you missed him. :-\

That's terrible! I might have seriously injured someone if that had happened to me. However, I'm currently at a camp for political junkies and was watching the live internet feed from the DNC (ah, the joys of high-speed internet). The connection wasn't anything stable, though, but amazingly, I got through Bill's electrifying speech without being interrupted once. :-)
