Well JK, I shall not be, I shall not be moved
It's just silly, and nothing is proved!
Will they end up together in six? Seven?
A red herring, dude!

I've made my way with fanfic plans and I shall not be moved
Calling shots with canon fans, I will not be moved
I'm a beech tree that's planted by the water
The Phoenix flashback shewed.

I shall not be, I shall not be moved
I shall not be, I shall not be moved
I'm a beech tree that's planted by the water
I shall not be moved

"Ending up" - that can't bar snogging, and I shall not be moved
Or in post-seven's unknown land - I shall not be moved
I'm a beech tree that's planted by the water
I shall not be moved

Oh well
It cannot be, it cannot be barred
It cannot be, it cannot be barred
Like a squid that's swimming in the water,
Everything is fluid.

If we can't trust her mathmatics, everything is skewed!
charlie Weasley's age - well, that has just been moved.
Just like Harry waiting to rescue Hermi-
We'll be patient, too.

Don't give up! I'd rather see D/Hr than R/Hr, myself :).

Technically, WP Kinsella's book The Iowa Baseball Confederacy. But then I looked up the full lyrics online.

I'd rather see Hermione/Umbridge than Hermione/Ron.

Though I really can't see Draco ... no.

Mm, Hermione and Umbridge may be more compatible than we think.

I used to like D/Hr, but after the fifth book it lost its appeal for me. I just can't see their personalities match each other.

I never liked R/Hr, though.

Have you read Shoeless Joe too? I love Kinsella. I read that book before I ever saw Field of Dreams. I've been to THE Field of Dreams too. I recommend not going there in late May, when it's nothing but mud; wait until July or early August when the corn is high :)

For some reason, I'm really happy that you are a D/Hr shipper. Can't we use your power and influence at FA to reflect our 'ships refusal to leave? (read: change layout to D/Hr theme) *bats eyelashes*

Yeah, I thought not.

I'm gonna stretch it thin and say that because the story is in Harry's perspective, and the improbability of D/Hr holding hands in the hallways or sitting together in the Great Hall, it doesn't mean that they're not snogging in the library or whatnot. They're sneaking behind and acting their usual selves, but are interacting behind closed doors.

ps. made my way here from nc_kat2002's comment at the dracohermionecommunity at yahoogroups. and I followed your brain2bitch theory which has made me squee with the possibility of Dark!Hermione. Friending you!

*pats* I am so sorry. However, let it be known that your post to L&L is driving one of the parkies insane...and she is in turn irritating me via owl about it. So, I share your pain...sort of.

And I don't think it completely sinks the ship. Maybe makes it list a little bit, but certainly doesn't sink it. I mean, come on...a lot of ships don't really have much canon basis at all and the folks who support them can still have fun with them. And that's what matters at the end of the day. Plus, there's always the world of AU. ;)

I too was upset when I read that bit. Haven't been able to make up a clever poem about it.

I couldn't have said it any better myself! And even if by some twisted and awful reason that it doesn't happen in canon, there's always post-Hogwarts to ponder over and fanfiction to read.

*snickers*

You know, if people are still shipping Spock/Kirk after all these years, I don't know anyone, anywhere would ever bother to say that a ship is dead in the water.

It's contrary to the whole point of shipping. Shipping is to women what sports teams are to men -- something that we cheer for regardless of the chances in reality. Thus my father can still faithfully worship the MN Vikings even though they suck year after year and choke every post season.

*grins* So you can keep cheering for D/Hr and my dad for the Vikings and if either proves to be a success, I'll be the first in line to buy a lotto ticket that week.
