::sigh:: I visited Mauthausen on All Souls Day of 2000, and as I arrived at the camp (after walking the 6 km from the train station, since the buses were shut down) I could hear the closing hymn of the Memorial Mass being said in the chapel that was built in the camp, and entered the camp to find little old ladies from the local village saying their rosaries in pennance. I spent much of that day in tears. I wonder what Gibson elder would call that.
