Three Things That Never Happened to...

Write three ficlets about a total of three events and/or three moments that never happened to a character but, had they happened, would have changed his or her life forever.

Each ficlet can be no more than 200 words, which is a double-drabble, but it can be shorter. You can write about any character you choose, but all three ficlets must be about the same character.

At least one of the ficlets must take place on February 29, and for the purpose of this challenge, in the wizarding world, the day of February 29 must mean something special to the wizarding world - perhaps it's a day where everything is the opposite from what it normally is, or it's a day where places that are normally unplottable (think Atlantis or Brigadoon) are suddenly accessable, or perhaps it's the one day when centaurs help witches and wizards - be creative!

Fics (rated R or lower) can be posted to http://www.fictionalley.org/fictionalleypark/forums/showthread.php?s=23f4745e6947c33fae436d79a8fddd9a&threadid=55343 on February 29, 2004 only.

Questions should be posted in Suggestions & Questions at http://www.fictionalley.org/fictionalleypark/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=4

So ... one assumes that by "never happened" to a character, these fics must be set in the already established present or past? No future fics. Otherwise you can't say they never happened just because they haven't happened YET.

Right?

Oooh, I'm looking forward to this. The WW fandom recently had a spate of "Five Things That Never Happened To..." fics/ficlets - I remember especially a "Five Ways Josh Lyman Never Got Laid," or something to that effect.

Man, I wish I could write worth a flip. :D

I'll go around and clarify it, but it means 'never happened as of February 29, 2004" and with the presumption that Harry was born on July 31, 1980 (unless his being born is what 'never happened' in which case I throw up my hands and spin wibbly for a while).

So future-potterverse-fics are ok but they need to take place before the day the fic is posted.

Does that make sense?
